So you’ve joined the Chamber, now what?
The Sitka Chamber puts on many events and programs throughout the year to engage our community and members in enhancing business growth and development. Here’s how you can make the most of your membership.
The Chamber’s sends out newsletters weekly on Tuesdays. Watch for our emails for information on upcoming Chamber events, community happenings, and exclusive member opportunities. Watch our Facebook page as well for Chamber updates that may not make it into the newsletters!
If you’re a new business, a new Chamber member, or if you’ve recently relocated or rebranded, we would love to offer you a ribbon cutting ceremony! As part of the ribbon cutting ceremony, the Chamber will market and advertise the event, including inviting Sitka officials, livestreaming the event on our Facebook page, and promotion of the event through social media and newsletters. Speaker Series events are held at noon on Wednesdays throughout the year. Join us for a Speaker Series event to network with other Chamber members and hear exclusive presentations from business executives, government officials, and more. Members have the opportunity to partner with the Chamber on hosting a Business After Hours, your own networking event. This is a great opportunity to show off your business to other members and connect business professionals in the area. By becoming a member, you instantly put your business ahead of others through referrals. Chamber staff will always recommend members first to all phone, email, and walk-in inquiries.

One listing in our member directory is included with a basic membership. Additional category listings may be added onto your membership at half-off of your basic membership price. Make sure your directory listing is up to date by logging in to your member account and updating your information regularly.
The Chamber hosts several major community events and programs in town throughout the year, including the Annual Awards Gala, the Golf Tournament, the 4th of July parade, Downtown Trick-or-Treating, Silver Savers, and more. Sponsorship, involvement, and advertising opportunities are available for all of these events and include many benefits that vary between events and programs. Outside of the basic memberships, the Chamber offers three sustaining membership tiers. These memberships are priced higher and offer additional benefits outside of the basic membership benefits, including recognition at all events, speaking opportunities at events, logo placements on multiple website pages, additional directory listings, and more. Is your business geared towards visitors? A Visit Sitka Partnership may be right for you. As a department of the Chamber, a Visit Sitka Partnership is separate from a Chamber Membership and includes a long list of it’s own benefits.  Click here to learn more about becoming a Partner.
